Aarti Joshi is a doctoral researcher at ZAS in the Leibniz Competition-funded project Linguistic Meaning and Bayesian Modeling.

Her research interests lie across semantics, pragmatics, and psycholinguistics; favouring experimental and computational methods. In her doctoral work, she will focus on employing probabilistic modelling to capture individual and cross-linguistic variability in the interpretation of quantifiers. She also has a special fondness for investigating linguistic illusions.
